For the first time in 7 years, 5IVEHOLE decided to sponsor a team for a local pond hockey tournament hosted by the Ponemah Lakeside Lodge in Fenton Michigan. Coming in, the weather looked like it was going to make for an amazing weekend. However, the high temperatures made conditions extremely difficult for all involved. With it being only February, the weather was great for being outside and having a few drinks. But, made for slushy conditions for those participating in the pond hockey tournament.
Games were cancelled halfway through on Saturday. Which made for a sprint to the finish on Sunday. The 5IVEHOLE Snipers made it to the semifinals and lost to a local foe that had given them issues in the past.
After all was said and done, the weekend was a great success. We met some amazing people, made some wonderful memories and enjoyed a few adult beverages along the way! Until next year!
