There were too many submissions to handle on Instagram. We felt a voting gallery was the best non bias way to allow participants to share their work and gain votes. There were protocols instituted within the software to limit IP addresses to submit more than 5 votes. However, yes, individuals if smart enough, can avoid this with a VPN. Only other option would be to sign up to our page and submit your votes. This way, it is restricted to the individual. Our only reason for not doing this was to make it as open as possible.
